Things to do at Sarakiniko
Sarakiniko is a stretch of white volcanic rock on Milos's north coast, eroded by wind and sea into smooth, almost lunar folds with no soil or shrub cover.
Unlike Kleftiko, on the island's south-west side and reachable only by boat, Sarakiniko sits right off the road, a couple of kilometres from Adamas port, so a rental car or scooter gets you there in about 10 minutes.
If you're island-hopping from Santorini, budget it as a short stop: the ferry crossing to Milos already takes up most of a day, and Sarakiniko itself needs no more than an hour or two, mainly for photographs and a swim off the rocks rather than a full beach day.
