This group covers walking routes along the caldera path between Fira and Oia, past Imerovigli and the Skaros rock, as well as the ascent to the monastery of Profitis Ilias, the island's highest point at 567 metres. The caldera path runs along an exposed cliff edge with little shade, which matters most to anyone walking it around midday.
