Things to do in Antiparos
Antiparos sits across a narrow strait from Paros, a separate island rather than a suburb of it, and it stays quieter than both Paros town and the fishing village of Naoussa further north.
It is not where ferries from Athinios land after the roughly two-hour crossing from Santorini; that arrival point is Paros itself, and this page assumes you are already based there and want a slower day trip rather than a Santorini connection.
Small boats and a car ferry cross the strait frequently, in a matter of minutes rather than hours, which makes Antiparos an easy half-day or overnight add-on. The island is known for a laid-back main village, sandy coves, and a cave on Mount Agios Ilias that has drawn visitors since antiquity, open on a seasonal schedule that is worth checking before you plan around it.
